Distribution Castor Load Ratings and Tread Materials
Wheels run from 80mm to 400mm, with dynamic ratings of 70kg to 1000kg per castor. Solid rubber is the most common tread, followed by polyurethane, polyamide and elastic tyre, plus cast polyurethane, vulcanised elastic tyre and black elastic tyre. Where static build-up is a risk, such as around electronics, choose an electrically conductive tread.
Fittings and Brakes for Distribution Castors
Plate fitting accounts for most of the range, with bolt hole, single bolt and round or square expanders for tubular frames. Sets pair swivel with braked or fixed castors, and swivel castors with total lock hold a trolley still at a picking face.
