Alpha Castor Sizes and Tread Materials
Sizes run from 50mm to 200mm. Treads include polyamide, polyurethane, elastic tyre and heat resisting synthetic. Use elastic tyre on smooth floors where noise and floor protection matter, polyamide on rough or debris-strewn surfaces, and the heat resisting option near ovens or washers.
Common Fittings for Alpha Castors
Plate fittings cover most Alpha castors and suit flat chassis. Bolt hole and stem versions are also available for tube frames and inserts. A swivel with total lock is offered for trolleys that need to hold both wheel and direction.
