Nylon Wheel Diameters, Loads and Polyamide Tread
Sizes range from 25mm to 200mm, with dynamic loads from 25kg to 1000kg per castor. TENTE lists nylon as polyamide. It rolls freely on soft or debris-strewn floors. Choose rubber or polyurethane instead if floor protection or noise matters.
Choosing a Nylon Wheel by Bore, Hub and Bearing
Loose Duratech wheels from 100mm to 160mm take a 20mm axle, and the smaller plain bearing wheels take 12mm. Plain, roller and precision ball bearings are all available. Castor versions offer plate, bolt hole or blind hole fittings, with total lock or a wheel brake on some swivels.
