Roll Cage Castor Load Ratings and Tread Materials
Diameters run from 80mm to 200mm, with dynamic ratings of 70kg to 500kg per castor. Tread choices are polyamide, polyurethane, elastic tyre and solid rubber. For cages loaded onto vehicles and pushed over tail lifts, solid rubber or elastic tyre absorbs more shock than a hard polyamide tread.
Fittings and Brakes for Roll Cage Castors
Plate is the main fitting, with bolt hole versions for cages built with a single mounting point. Sets combine swivel and braked or swivel and fixed castors, and swivel castors with total lock hold the cage still during loading.
