Heavy Mobile Jig Castor Load Ratings and Tread Materials
Wheels come in 80mm to 400mm diameters, with dynamic load ratings from 150kg to 1200kg per castor. Tread options are polyurethane, cast polyurethane, elastic tyre and polyamide. Use the softer elastic tyre on hard floors such as concrete or tiles, and a harder polyurethane or polyamide tread on softer or uneven surfaces.
Common Fittings for Heavy Mobile Jig Castors
Plate fitting is standard across this range, bolted to the jig frame for a rigid mount. Pair swivel castors with total lock at one end and fixed castors at the other so the jig steers well and stays put once positioned.
